Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Production Engineer. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production processes in our automotive/manufacturing industry. This position is based in Chakan, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience of Production Engineer in the automotive/manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulations
- Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Optimize the production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and resolve any production issues
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and safety procedures
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs
- Implement and maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs and minimize waste
