Organizing and maintaining production schedules, which include setting up meetings with designers or other key staff members to discuss upcoming projects
Contributing to the development of new designs by working with designers on sketches, drapes, fabric swatches, and other elements of new styles
Communicating with vendors to discuss products that need to be ordered for specific projects
Creating computerized spreadsheets to track inventory levels, style codes, fabric samples for tailoring, and other materials used in production
Collecting reference material such as fabric swatches or images from catalogs to help a designer develop a new style
Discussing and Reviewing samples with vendors and conducting cost analysis
Skills Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent in fashion design, merchandising, or related field
1-2 years experience working in fashion production, design, or merchandising
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, proficient in Google Meet, Zoom, or similar
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
