We are looking for an experienced Production and Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving production processes, developing new manufacturing methods, and ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production and process engineering with experience in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient production processes
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
- Develop and implement manufacturing methods to improve product quality
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Train and mentor production staff
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to improve production processes
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2-12 years of experience in production and process engineering
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficient in CAD software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is a plus
