Job Description
Job Summary
You will be responsible for all aspects of supply chain management to ensure customer satisfaction and inventory management by providing appropriate leadership in supply scheduling, materials and inventory control with the aim to achieve desired our goals for the concerned Business. As a critical part of global supply chain, you will also work with global centralised material group to implement new technology, process and guide improvements and value for our businesses and customers.
Your Responsibilities

- Lead all aspects related to supply chain management
- Manage the supply scheduling, material planning and inventory management activities for the concerned Business.
- Build a process-driven approach to material scheduling and planning. The manager will build performance improvement activities aimed at achieving year-on-year improvements in the supply chain performance. You will create an environment that encourages and continuous improvement, including Lean and advanced planning techniques
- Lead planning efforts. Be a leader in the establishment and execution of an integrated sale, operations and planning process that links strategy, customer service, inventory, forecasts and execution. Use this process to tightly align with the Businesses, Finance, Operations and Logistics organisations
- Subject matter expertise in planning management and conversant in applicable tools and systems.
- Develop strategy and programmes to ensure material availability to support delivery commitment. Establish inventory strategy to meet customer service level accomplishment. To lead material expediting, cancellation and push out, excess and obsolete material disposition.
- Provide warehouse management leadership to ensure proper material receiving, documentation and accounting, storage, retrieval and issuance.
- Ensure sales order fulfilment through integration of material and production planning process. Monitor schedule accomplishment and lead delivery performance.
- Coordinate activities with other departments such as Departments, Engineering, Quality and Production to allow cost-effective manufacturing environment and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement annual supply chain and materials management plan. Plan should include parameters and milestones for meeting customer service, production targets, shipment targets, inventory levels and costs of materials and finished products. Monitor execution status, identify opportunities and issues. Take proactive actions to close gaps. Communicate status to management and escalate.
- Manage department budget.
- Engage and use global operations and functional expertise to increase internal process.
- Maintain a positive work environment for the team and work groups.
- Recruit, train, motivate and manage all department staff. Provide staff competency development.
- Perform special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Conduct tasks following applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000) and Rockwell Automation code of conduct and other corporate procedures.

The Essentials - You Will Have
- Minimum 15 years operations experience with >5 years logistics, purchasing, and material planning in management capacity.
- High product mix, high demand variability, product line depth, mix of standard and configured products, both direct and distribution sales channels, and global supply base.
- You must be collaborative with the business quickly and have an combination of tactical and. Success in dealing in a global, matrixed organization structure will be necessary for you.
- Must have demonstrated expertise leading a complex global supply chain organization and ability to provide both technical and managerial leadership to your organization
- BS in Engineering or Supply Chain,/Master's Degree.
- Lean-Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt.
- MRP experience and SAP
- Team player.
- Work well with people at all levels.
