Job Description

Looking for a Guidewire Certified Product Test Engineer having 6 - 8 years of overall experience, who can work as an individual contributor and have good working knowledge of GW ecosystem.

Should provide oversight and guidance across quality control automation throughout the organization and focuses on the creation/execution of test scripts and also focus on automation of medium to high complexity projects. Should provide direction and show leadership on test strategy, script execution, test automation framework and test environment design, designs and implements test automation architecture and designs, modifies and enhances the test automation framework.

Skills

  • Functional knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center/Claims Center/Policy integrations.
  • Programming in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Java / Python / JavaScript).
  • Systems Development and Testing life cycle (SDLC) and application development best practices.
  • Agile methodology and best practices.
  • Change tickets to conduct risk impact assessments, rollback, and implementation planning.
  • Common design patterns, their purpose, and when and how they are applied to commonly encountered design problems.
  • Back-end development, design, and implementation.
  • Code versioning tools (e.g. GIT).Development tools (e.g. integrated development environments (IDEs).
  • Automated testing and monitoring tools (e.g. Junit, Selenium, etc.) and approaches.
  • Trouble ticketing tools.
  • Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Certification

  • Guidewire Certified

Experience

  • 6 - 8 Years of overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems of GW PC integrations and automate them using GT UI/API.
  • Participates in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product
  • Participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups
  • Practices daily paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products
  • Collaborates within the team in designing systems and apps
  • Participates in iteration planning meetings ensuring that the team has a common understanding of each story and chores in a team's backlog
  • Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
  • Participates in knowledge sharing, and contributes to the overall growth of the collective knowledge of the team
  • Ability to demonstrate our values and behaviours with right mindset.

Education & Experience (in Lieu)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
