Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer success, ensuring seamless database performance and query optimization.
- Provide expert-level support on RDBMS (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres, etc.).
- Execute Database Administration (DBA) tasks including backups, recovery, tuning, and performance monitoring.
- Optimize database queries and performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with the cloud team to provide scalable cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Troubleshoot issues related to distributed cloud databases.
- Provide training and assistance to customers to maximize their database performance and usage.
- Actively engage with customers, understanding their requirements and providing technical solutions.
- Maintain strong communication and ensure customer satisfaction by effectively resolving any concerns.
- Document issues, processes, and solutions for continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate
- Proficient in RDBMS systems (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres, etc.).
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with strong query optimization and performance tuning skills.
- Hands-on experience with distributed cloud databases and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong communication and customer handling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide technical solutions efficiently.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for enterprise-level customers.
Mandatory Criteria
- 6+ years of Product Support experience with customer-facing skills
- 5+ RDBMS / Cloud-based RDBMS (Any of MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, NoSQL etc), SQL Query Optimization and Tuning.
- 5+ years of Hands-on experience in Linux
- Experience with any cloud (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of business processes and how database technology can optimize them.
Working Days: 5 Days a week
