The Applications Global Strategy team focus is globalization strategy across applications product lines including Fusion, EBS, JDE, and PeopleSoft. As needed and time allows, we also provide globalization insight and assistance to Oracle's Global Business Unit (GBU) teams. The primary responsibility is inbound product planning and legal watch including country, regional and global requirements. Based on the substantial and unique expertise on the team, there is also significant focus on field and customer enablement as it relates to globalization and product capabilities.

Requirements
As a Product Strategy Director, you will play a leading role in defining Oracle's product strategy in meeting global, regional and country specific requirements including:
- Release planning, legal watch and program management for designated areas of responsibility
- Validating the competitiveness and the proper level of compliance enablement of Oracle products for the assigned countries
- Identify and document business requirements for global, regional and where required country specific features to be incorporated into the products
- Conduct and participate in business requirements reviews across product teams
- Establish and maintain relationships with key Oracle teams across development and field teams, as well as with partners, and relevant government agencies
Summary
Experience, Skills, Academic
The ideal candidate will have at least 15 plus years experience as an ERP implementation consultant with practical experience across Financials applications and across countries. A thorough understanding of the functional and business issues, with an emphasis on how to drive requirements through the software development cycle is required. Comprehensive knowledge of all ERP Financials and SCM as well as Indirect taxes and accounting proficiency, especially as it relates to varying requirements across counties is highly valuable in this role. SOA, XML and Webservice knowledge and implementation experience is a plus as well as APEX. The ideal candidate will set the pace through action. Selected candidate must be able to inspire confidence and be a self-starter and a finisher with a strong bias toward action.

- 15 plus years of international ERP practical implementation consultant, pre-sales, and/or global multinational I.T. experience
