Survey Administration: Create, distribute, and analyze surveys to collect quantitative data that will complement qualitative insights.
Field Visits: Travel to rural regions in Karnataka to engage directly with farmers and retailers to deepen your understanding of their experiences and challenges.
Data Analysis: Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify key trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Report Findings: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to share research findings and recommendations with the team.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the product, design, and business teams to ensure user insights inform product development and marketing strategies.
Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Research Skills: Solid understanding of qualitative research methods, including interviewing, ethnography, and contextual inquiry.
Language Skills: Proficiency in Kannada and English.
Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze and synthesize data to derive meaningful insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Previous Experience: Prior experience in user research, particularly in rural or low-income settings, would be advantageous.
