We are looking for Product Owner with 7+ years of experience to be based at our Mangalore office in India and to be part of our growth story.

Product delivery and excellence

Within our Research & Development department we have our Product Delivery and Excellence sub-department. You will join our team of Product Owners, test management and release management resources all devoted to refining and optimizing every development phase of our product delivery pipeline. In our agile environment, we're dedicated to continuous improvement. From leveraging SCRUM events and agile tools to fostering effective collaboration techniques, we're committed to optimizing our product roadmap delivery.

We are strengthening our Product Owner role, who serves as a key resource between our stakeholders and the development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals. As our Product Owner your responsibilities will be to:

  • Define stories and prioritize the backlog to streamline the execution of development priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or component.
  • Define and adapt product scope, maximizing backlog value, and optimizing development team's work.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, managers, and teams to understand, prioritize, and communicate needs, serving as a central point of contact for focus and conflict resolution.
  • Address bugs, accommodate change orders, and oversee project delivery, to ensure that these are delivered successfully to stakeholders and ensuring the team is able to deliver work of high quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager on defining the Product Roadmap, engaging in high-level backlog refinement sessions, and assisting in shaping the product vision to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Validate the solutions being developed to ensure they meet the requirements and expectations of the stakeholders, including conducting testing, gathering feedback and making adjustments as needed.
  • Report on product process, keeping the stakeholder up-to-date with changes of priorities and other types of delays.

We seek an individual with a strong eager to learn and adaptability to embrace change within our industry. Following new technology trends and modernization along with possessing most of the qualities listed below is highly valued:

  • Experienced in working as a Product Owner.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies including SCRUM or Kanban and skilled in using JIRA.
  • Has an entrepreneur mindset: a keen eye for opportunities, focus on business value, ROI and acts proactive on possible risks and threats.
  • You have project management skills and are able to plan, organize and handle the product and development teams across areas to meet the customers needs.
  • You have solid presentation skills and can effectively communicate with product management, development team, and other departments within the organization.
  • Knowledge about the sales process for B2B and B2C customers, along with insights within EDI in the Building Supply industry.
