This position is to manage the marketing of a product line with a strong presence in Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Home Depot, and eBay with more partner relationships in the works. Our flagship website of www.ojcommerce.com is one of the fastest growing ecommerce channels and serves several million customers every year.
The line of business is growing fast (CAGR 70%) and will hit several hundred million $ RR soon. All products are sold direct to consumers in the United States via online channels.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of pricing, promotions, channels & advertising for the product line and will be accountable for:
- Identifying product strengths and weaknesses of our product line and promoting it across all leading channels that we have
- Identifying key aspects of products including essential keywords that need to be promoted and tracking their efficacy across channels to grow the product line vis--vis competition
- Identifying opportunities in the marketplace to expand the product line by identifying consumer gaps / consumer searches / competitions strengths
- Work with key channel managers to ensure that marketing is done as per desired budgetsand helping the product succeed across both ads and SEO growth
- Meeting sales targets within cost budgets of the product line
- Create and nurture relationships with stakeholders in online marketplaces and digital channel
- Benchmark products against competition for both features/pricing and listing quality
- Track SEO growth of the product line and identify areas of improvement
Skills
- Proven experience in ecommerce across listing, ads, SEO in 1 or more leading channels is essential.
- Proven experience in digital marketing to drive sales paid advertising in diverse media and channels, email marketing and affiliate marketing
- Experience in launching new products and exposure to all aspects of product marketing to manage listings of products, pricing, promotions, and positioning
- A very high order of qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Ability to deal with a very dynamic & complex ecosystem
- Must be highly proficient in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to build relationships with internal as well external stakeholders
