Your role and goals
As our Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d), you play a pivotal role in connecting our product strategy with target audiences and markets, contributing significantly to Productsup's go-to-market strategy and overall revenue growth. You will work cross-functionally with the marketing, product, solutions, customer success and sales teams and play a vital role in our internal and external communication.
We are looking for a strategic self-starter who can take ownership and initiative, break down complex concepts, and communicate them in a simple and clear way that resonates with the target audience.
In your first 3 months you will:
- Get to know our product portfolio and familiarize yourself with the market, target group, and competitive landscape
- Establish feedback processes in close collaboration with your key stakeholders to fuel product marketing improvement
- Manage sales enablement programs to support sales and ensure client-facing teams have appropriate resources and collateral
- Create our product positioning and messaging to be used in product releases and marketing campaigns
In your first 6 months and beyond you will:
- Understand our customers, target segments and buyer personas for your target segment and product portfolio, and serve as an advocate for their needs in order to shape the go-to-market strategy
- Own end-to-end product and feature launches including defining the go-to-market plans, sales enablement tools, and marketing activation in collaboration with our sales, product and marketing teams
- Create tight, clear and compelling messaging that identify the target customer, nailing their pain point and the benefits our products provide
- Produce sales and marketing assets (pitch decks, website pages, videos, one pagers, etc.) for your target segment and product portfolio. Create training materials and sessions to enable sales, marketing and solutions teams to leverage these assets
- Execute market research and collect competitor intelligence to build competitors battle cards for sales enablement
- Collect customer and market feedback by conducting customer surveys, internal interviews and surveys
What you bring to the team
- Thorough technical understanding of commerce technologies (shop systems, PIM systems, content syndication and feed management)
- 4+ years experience in creating content and messaging for tech products in product marketing of a SaaS company
- Deep understanding of digital marketing (advertising on Google, Facebook, Amazon)
- Excellent Multi-tasking skills with project management experience and stake holder management
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Google Suites and Microsoft Office
