Product Manager, Financial Analytics/EPM Analytics

The Product
Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) is an AI-powered analytical applications built for Oracle Cloud Applications, combining business data, ready-to-use analytics, and pre-built AI and machine learning (ML) models to deliver deeper insights and accelerate decision-making process with actionable results. FDI provides Financial Analytics for line of business users including Controllers, Accountants, Analysts, CAO, CFO and FP&As leveraging data from Oracle Cloud sources and beyond.
The Role
To provide the best analytics experience for our Fusion Data Intelligence customers, this team is building finance, supply chain analytics applications leveraged by business users to drive important business decisions. We are working on creating a connected experience from data to insights to actions in pursuit of analytics excellence. This person will drive product requirements for data driven applications using ERP & EPM Cloud data addressing needs from Finance users including FP&As. Qualified candidates will have deep understanding of EPM Cloud applications and appreciation for how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques can be leveraged for Finance use cases. You should have a deep understanding of the various operational roles involved in back-office functions. You should be able to articulate the business impact for new features in clear terms. You should have deep understanding of the business metrics that measures the financial health of an enterprise including knowledge of business processed around Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Close.
Responsibilities
- Partner with other EPM Cloud and Analytics Product Managers to shape the product roadmap.
- Engage with Oracle EPM Cloud customers to understand the needs and expectations. Run customer focus groups.
- Produce high quality product requirements with comprehensive and detailed analysis of customer requirements.
- Engage with product engineers to design and build features, drive feature adoption with continuous feedback from customers.
- Work with the Analytics and EPM Cloud marketing teams to facilitate decisions around product launch, product positioning and gain insights on competitive landscape.
- Participate in marketing events to showcase product demos, facilitate customer discussions and run workshops.
- Provide release documentation for any new features/functions released during the quarterly releases.
Skills And Experiences Required
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Post Graduate in Finance or Accounting or Economics. ICWA, CPA, MBA-Finance preferred.
- Travel required 25% of time including international travel.
- We operate as one global team. Willing to work flexible hours to overlap with India/other international teams.
- 10+ years experience working in Financial Planning with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, period close.
- End to end implementation experience with Oracle Fusion EPM Applications including PBCS and FCCS. Highly desirable to have exposure to PCMCS, EDMCS.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
