1. Product Research & Development:
a. Research about newer product categories (desk research) of the products of
interest
b. Understand the new product sampler given by vendors, give feedback to
sourcing partner and finally develop a robust product.
c. Maintain Competition analysis with respect to product, new trends in product,
important features, SKU and price and regularly update till the time product is
launched.
2. Partnering/ Coordinating with Procurement department for getting samples on time,
sharing feedback on the product, develop unique product along with the vendor
3. Partnering/ Coordinating with Marketing department to give packaging &
communication brief basis comp. analysis & ensure packaging goes as per plan.
4. Partnering/ Coordinating with Sales Team (E.Com team) to ensure all requirements
from product front are passed on for successful listing
5. Setting up processes to ensure smooth launch of NPD
6. Planning and strategizing what new products can be launched under the department of
NPD within Soothe Healthcare (Preparing Soothe New Products Pipeline)
7. Forecasting SKUs, MoQs and prices of the new product basis competitive analysis
8. Prepare weekly update & monthly MIS/ report on NPD department s achievements/
progress reports
