Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic product manager to drive the digital transformation strategy for R&D across diverse verticals. Your role involves engaging with stakeholders to craft digital solutions, deploying innovation and ideation to simplify processes, and collaborating with data scientists to deliver insights. You will lead proof of concepts for timely and data-driven decision-making, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders globally to address critical business problems and enhance operational efficiencies through digital advancements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for providing support in identification and development of digital transformation strategy for R&D (Research and Development) across different verticals.
- You will engage with different stakeholders to translate business problems into an amicable digital solution.
- You will be responsible for deploying innovation and ideation in multiple business verticals along with Business engagement manager and Head and come up with digital interventions to simplify the processes and increase agility.
- In collaboration with data scientists, you will design, develop and deliver various data science insights and outcomes.
- You will drive proof of concepts and blueprints to enable faster, timely, precise and workable decision based on data science and digital concepts.
- You will collaborate with globally dispersed internal stakeholders, external partners and institutions to solve critical business problems, drive operational efficiencies leveraging digital and latest technological advances.
Qualifications
Educational qualification: A Master's Degree from a Tier-1 College
Minimum work experience: 4-6 years of relevant industry experience
Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management.
- Fair understanding of Formulation, API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) and Analytical Development (Generic R&D).
- Good exposure to and practical experience in process automation programs, and data analytics projects.
- Over all understanding of Generic Pharmaceutical landscape including the R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing and Quality functions.
- Good understanding of Six Sigma & Lean methodologies.
- Expertise in use of Microsoft excel and PowerPoint.
- Expertise in the fields of Automation, Simulation, Data Science and Digital twins.
Behavioural Skills
- Reasoning skills, analytical ability, agility, and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage mid-to-senior level Stakeholders and a self-starter attitude.
- Innovative thinking, co-creation ability, and the ability to see through opportunities by changing perspectives.
