Role Summary:
Join our early-stage startup, as a Product Manager to drive the customer experience of a new category-creating and ground-breaking product in the Data Analytics space. The ideal candidate is a passionate, yet pragmatic thinker and maker who can think broadly across platforms and domains, but then dive deep into the details. You should be passionate about working strategically with executives and other senior leaders to create and deliver a big, visionary, and customer-focused experience
Responsibilities:
Refine core problems that need to be solved from a customer perspective and research the problem statements internally as well as externally to define detailed end-to-end requirements. Ensure that experiential elements are designed with a customer-first mindset and utilizing analytics.
Demonstrated track record of launching new products and features end-to-end, from research, planning, implementation, and launch to analysis and iteration (worked at a start-up / handled a project from scratch at a large company). Strong ability to convert plans and requirements into on-time, quality releases working in tandem with the engineering team
Monitor user engagement metrics, including core vitals, traffic, and engagement, Constantly scrutinize the online experience, ensuring that customer outcomes are met with the experiential elements. Utilize analytics to suggest improvements.
Strong technical, and architectural understanding of analytics and SaaS products with a
modern tech stack
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction, a sense of intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and positivity.
Absolute alignment with the engineering team and leadership.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be extremely detail-oriented, especially in writing requirements that are ready for implementation.
Be able to improve agility and quality in the product-building process
Must-have Skills:
5+ years of industry experience specifying, building, and supporting large-scale distributed analytics systems in production.
Engineering/CS undergrad degree and some experience writing software in the past
Experience building data-heavy web applications, charting applications, and asynchronous data handling using REST APIs and experience with technologies like
React, Redux, D3, etc.
Ability to make smart features vs. time-to-market trade-offs by using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value.
Write detailed product requirements (PRDs, Jira stories) that reduce iterations with engineering to build features.
