Job Title: Product Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Product Manager who will be pivotal in driving the development and management of educational products and programs. The ideal candidate will combine a passion for social impact with a solid background in product management, focusing on creating solutions that address the educational challenges faced by children from low-income families. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that our products are innovative, impactful, and aligned with our mission.
Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments and research to understand the educational challenges and opportunities for children from low-income backgrounds.
Product Development:
Lead the end-to-end development process for educational products and programs, from ideation to launch, ensuring they meet the needs of our beneficiaries and stakeholders.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with educators, designers, content creators, and field experts to design and implement effective educational tools and curricula.Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- User-Centric Design: Incorporate feedback from students, teachers, and community members to iteratively improve product offerings.
Impact Measurement:
Establish metrics and systems to measure the impact and effectiveness of educational products and programs, using data to drive continuous improvement.Advocacy & Communication:
Act as an advocate for our users and products, communicating progress, challenges, and successes to internal and external stakeholders.Training & Support: Develop and deliver training and support materials for teachers and facilitators using our products.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of educational trends and technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge and effective.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in Product Management or Education Technology is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the education or nonprofit sector.
Skills:
