Job Title: Product Manager

Sector: Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN)

Location: Pune

( The job involves extensive travel to our sites/customer locations [40-50% of the time] )

Relevant Experience:

Min 15 years of Technical/Operation/R&D Experience / Product & Process support in Commercial /

Defense Explosives Industry

Job Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate the customer needs and ensure product development, on all aspects, to meet customer

/ segment specific applications

2. Manage range of products through the various stages of the product life cycle

3. Ensure detailed investigation on the product issues, prepare action plan and the first response

4. Validate the changes, through lab-plant-field tests, made by manufacturing to ensure these are

aligned with the objectives

5. Validate various claims minimizing exposure and liability of the business

6. Arrange tools, equipment and engage 3rd party necessary for testing and validation of results

7. Conduct audits to ensure Product quality, processes and product related regulatory compliance

8. Work with internal and external stakeholders and develop segment specific content (e.g.,

Marketing Plans, Technical Data Sheets, Material Safety Data Sheet, SOPs etc.)

Education: BE/B. Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Mining. R&D or Product & Process support

(preferably in explosive materials) background preferred.

Competency Skill-set

Safety-first mindset

Knowledge of commercial explosives, drilling and blasting, mining and quarrying applications

Knowledge of statutory provisions such as Mining Legislation/Regulations, Mines Act,

Explosives Act & Rules.

Knowledge of Chemicals testing tools and testing procedures

Project management capabilities

Strong communication, Presentation/report writing skills
