About the job:
As a product designer at Vybe Cabs, you will be instrumental in creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for our app and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, Marketing, and operations, to design solutions that meet user needs and business goals. Your work will directly impact our customers and drivers satisfaction and convenience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring new ideas to life by translating the product roadmap into high-quality UX/UI.
- Develop detailed design specifications that include all unique screen types, including content, functional, navigation, and interaction specifications.
- Culture Collaboration: effectively partnering with Product and Engineering to align on the most valuable and feasible solutions and ideas
- Advocate for user experience and accessibility standards throughout the organization.
- Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience in design thinking methodologies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the tech or transportation industry.
- Fluency with standard prototyping tools to demonstrate complex features and flows in web experiences.
- Innate customer obsession and deep experience working with UX research on foundational insights, concept evaluation, and iteration.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong visual design skills
