We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Product Designer to join our small tight-knit team. As a Product Designer at Lovedwell, you will play a crucial role in shaping the aesthetic and functional aspects of our product line - from conceptualisation to the final product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand Lovedwell's aesthetic and translate it into brand-appropriate products.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer needs, preferences, and emerging design trends in the home and decor industry.
- Generate concept sketches, renderings, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Utilise 3D modeling software and other design tools to create detailed product specifications.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of designs.
- Oversee product development from ideation to production while working with multiple vendors across different product lines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate from a design college with at least 2 years of industry experience.
- Experience in designing products for home decor and a portfolio to support that.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Corel Draw.
- Ability to design prints and designs for the collections.
- Strong sketching and visualization skills to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Excellent understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product development cycles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
