We are looking for a
Product Designer to create detailed shop drawings for our custom-made products. You will work closely with our sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure our products meet client specifications and expectations. You will also update and revise shop drawings as needed throughout each project.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in product design, industrial design, engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience creating shop drawings for products like furniture, cabinetry, metalwork, or signage.- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SketchUp.
Knowledge of design standards and best practices for shop drawings.
- Strong communication skills to work with team members and clients.
Attention to detail and a focus on quality.- Creativity and problem-solving abilities.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Product Designer (Shop Drawings), you will:- Review product specifications and design briefs from clients.
Create shop drawings that detail dimensions, materials, finishes, assembly, and installation of products.
- Work with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure the accuracy of shop drawings.
Incorporate feedback and changes from clients and internal teams into the drawings.- Maintain and update the shop drawings database and documentation.
Ensure compliance with design standards and best practices.
