Join the Product Management team within Nasdaq's Platform Engineering Management & Product Solutions organization. The main objective for the team is to Leads and manages the definition, development, and delivery of Nasdaq products by balancing client desirability, financial viability, and technical feasibility throughout the product lifecycle. As a Product Delivery Lead, you are directly responsible for maximizing the value of the product for our clients.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a
Product Delivery Lead, your focus will be crafting, developing and implementing features and improvements to the product. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
- Translate the product strategy into a roadmap, metrics, and desired functionality expressed as stories in the product backlog with limited oversight from the product manager.
- Capture requirements from a combination of internal stakeholders and Clients/Partners to be converted into user stories
- Communicate the voice of the customer to the development team and manage customer expectations as you turn their pains and problems into actionable user stories in the backlog. Provide mentorship of product functionality to development teams.
- Understand, define, and communicate the prioritization of product requirements expressed as stories in the product backlog with a mind toward business value, flow, and tradeoffs.
- Actively manage business risks, issues, and impediments expressed by the delivery team. Attend agile ceremonies to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap.
- Build quality into acceptance criteria and accept all work increments produced by the development team. Track progress on release and completion. Integrate with the other business product lines and technology to align your product's strategy with the overall needs directed by the business line and technology executives.
- Manage risks of quality and judgment with impact on the success of your product.
We expect you to have:
- University degree in business/finance, computer science, information technology or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner as well as proven experience in participation in Agile projects.
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge.
- An excellent command of written and spoken English
- Previous experience in the financial industry, specifically trading / capital markets.
- Become comfortable with direct end user interaction.
