Profile: Lead Costing
Job Role:
- Inventory Costing Ability to understand how the item cost works in the system. Should be able to check for material costs in P&L and inventory costs in the balance sheet
- Plant Accounting To co-ordinate with Plants for plant-related costs and freight
- Assist the R2R team in the preparation of trial balance and General Ledger scrutiny
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the Costing system for manufactured products.
- Work closely with the R&D team, and purchase team for cost optimization.
- Actual Costing, Variance analysis, and identifying areas of improvement in operations
- Analyzing actual manufacturing costs & preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production

- Initiating & evaluating cost reduction ideas.
- Preparing MIS deck as per agreed timelines.
- Record, report, analysis & MIS of Product wise profitability
- Knowledge of ML Run, Standard cost, Activity costing, NRV testing, and Inventory provisioning
Educational Background:
- CMA with 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing setup.
Work Experience:
- Worked in costing & MIS function of a mid/large size chemical/pharma/FMCG company.
- Good working knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing industry
