Product Change Analyst, Lead

The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. nImplements and maintains an Engineering Change Notice System. These changes will include product improvements, repairs, and new product development. Coordinates the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and marketing to ensure appropriate changes are documented.

nPrimary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Engineering Change Orders review and approval.
n
• Serves as the conduit with Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning to ensure Inventory and Demand Assessment reporting will be in place prior to Engineering Change Orders approval.
n
• Responsible for evaluating material assessment to assure or minimize excess inventory prior to Engineering change submittal and analysis inventory financial impact (Rework Cost, Excess & Obsolete) and finalizing CO implementation Plan.
n
• Coordinate with internal team of Change order creators and collaborate with the Eng. Change Program Managers, Product Manager, Supplier Business Managers, Supply Chain and Regional Planners to review E&O liability prior to Engineering Change Order submittal.
n
• Coordinate with sub tier suppliers to update impacted sales orders based on Materials availability.
n
• Assess material availability and inventory impacts for Engineering Changes in order to assist in establishing effectivity date(s)

• Participates in change order strategy meeting as on need basis.
n
• Manage escalations to supply chain, planning community for comprehensive Material/Spares inventory assessments.

• Mandatory skills required for the job:n

• Experience and Expert level knowledge in Engineering Change Mgmt. Process.
n
• Experience in Cost Analysis on change orders wrt BoM Changes.
n
• Good understanding of BoM (Bill of Material) structure including Config BOM.
n
• Experience in working with MS Excel, MS Access & MS Word.
n
• Skills to Influence and drive decisions across cross functional groups.
n
• Detailed oriented, strong analytical skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
n
• Good communication skills (written & verbal) in English.
n
• Desirable Skill:
n
• Good Problem-solving techniques.
n
• Knowledge of SAP.
n
• Knowledge of six sigma/problem solving methodologies.
n

nEligibility Criteria:

• Years of Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.

• Educational qualification: Diploma/ Bachelor's degree

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
