Job Description
You will join our Vendor Master data team [insert the name of the department]
As a Procurement Operations Specialist, you'll be an integral part of the vendor master data team, aligning closely with the strategic procurement team to champion best practices in procurement operations. Your role will be crucial in supporting our business units, vendor creation team, leading comprehensive screening process of vendor's based on organisation policies, enhancing transparency in vendor on boarding, and compliance.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Work as first level of screening of vendors before process of on-boarding starts and ensure seamless on boarding operations of VMD team.
- Review vendor on boarding requests in system and support business purchasers and creation team to get vendor into the system.
- Close coordination with vendor, buyers, and operation team, that may require direct communication over the call and e-mails.
- Advocates as strong change agent to increase digital procurement platform adoption.
- Assist with various projects and change management efforts across program evolution to improve stakeholder experience.
Qualifications

- 4+ years experience within Global Procurement, Sourcing, Buyer Role, Vendor Management, or equivalent background
- Knowledge of products and product categories of infra-based industry will be preferred choice.
- Strong understanding of Procure to Pay process, including relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure timely on boarding of vendors.
- Experience with Procure to Pay, Sourcing, Vendor Management, and contract management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across peers to accomplish functional and organizational goals.
- Ensures adherence to organization policies and procedures, including those relevant across the Procurement and Vendor Management domains.
- Ability to manage workflows, multiple projects, and develop report updates.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, planning, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and Power BI
