Vendor management and new vendor development.
Developing cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used and logistics cost.
Working with the team for sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for best prices, best quality, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
Stay informed of current trends in fluctuating variables in the raw material costs and logistics rates, etc.
Developing strong relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers, transporter or distributors.
Leading the Procurement and Store team; delegate tasks across departments when necessary.
Implementing and overseeing all inventory levels to meet production demand while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
Effective store and warehouse management to ensure optimum stock levels at all times.
Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree/Professional Certificate
- Advance skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc)
Having manufacturing background is an advantage- Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English
