Position :- AGM/DGM- Procurement ( Oil & Gas EPC Projects )
- Experience : 18 to 20 yrs
We are seeking an experienced senior personnel for Procurement activities to oversee and manage procurement activities across our Oil & Gas EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of procurement professionals, ensuring timely acquisition of materials, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining effective vendor relationships.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and timelines- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project objectives while optimizing costs and timelines
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing Supervise and Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals to ensure efficient procurement operations across multiple project sites
Provide guidance and support to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Utilize strong knowledge of material standards (e.g., API, ASTM) and codes relevant to Oil & Gas EPC projects- Ensure materials procured adhere to project specifications and industry standards
Vendor Management and Relationships:
- Evaluate vendor performance and manage relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and timely delivery of materials
Resolve issues and disputes with vendors promptly and professionally
- Cost Analysis and Optimization:
Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines- Implement cost control measures and monitor procurement budgets
- Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as engineering, project management, and finance departments to align procurement activities with project goals- Communicate procurement status, issues, and resolutions to senior management and project teams
- Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders
- Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
