Role: Assistant Manager Procurement
An Assistant Manager Procurement is responsible for handling end to end process of procurement.
Responsibilities:
Source vendors for goods and services
Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers
Cost comparisons to identify cost-saving opportunities
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs
Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
Identify and resolve procurement-related issues and escalate as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
7-10 years of experience
Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers & Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
