The Procurement team at the University of Warwick sits under the Finance department, providing dedicated Procurement support to key University departments, with this role mainly working with IDG but also other departments. The Procurement department is passionate when delivering procurement and has delivered key contributions to IDG and the University.

About You
The Central Procurement team is looking to recruit an experienced and passionate Procurement Manager for its
IT category, to design and deliver best value contracts and continuous improvement solutions. Leveraging various policies and procedures the Procurement Manager will work closely with Senior stakeholders across the University to deliver strategic and agile Procurement solutions.

About The Department
The University Finance Office supports business planning and innovation to maximise the financial resources available to the University and create the long-term sustainable financial platform required for future growth. Finance staff across the University are networked as a professional community of expertise. You will be supported to continue your professional journey through access to Continuing Professional Development training opportunities, sector networks and regular Finance Office briefings.
The role is campus based however staff can opt to work under the Finance Offices current hybrid policy where a maximum of 40% of time (2 days per week for full-time staff, typically Tuesday and Friday) can be worked remotely. This is subject to review and operational requirements. Whilst in the induction phase youll be required to work 100% in the office. Further details are available on request or at interview stage.
