Job Overview:
As the Procurement/Purchse, you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities across the organization. You will develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives and budgetary constraints.
Lead the procurement team in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers/vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and service level agreements.
Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and legal departments, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations
Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development and achieve departmental goals.
Evaluate and implement procurement technologies and systems to streamline processes, enhance transparency, and improve efficiency in procurement operations.
Prepare and present procurement reports, budgets, and performance metrics to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
