We are seeking a motivated and skilled Procurement Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to our EPC projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and equipment necessary for the successful execution of our projects.
Coordinate and manage the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services required for transmission lines, solar plants, cabling, substations, and other related projects.- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop procurement strategies.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company standards and project specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and documentation.- Utilize Excel and other software tools to track and analyze procurement data, manage budgets, and generate reports.
Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and new products relevant to the renewable energy industry.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of equipment and materials used in transmission lines, solar plants, cabling, and substations.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management, particularly in the renewable energy or EPC sectors, is a plus.
