in a professional and timely manner and managing the activities and responsibilities of the service desk team - This relates to all technology, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software
- As a Procurement Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to support the procurement process and ensure efficient and timely acquisition of goods and services required by the company and its
clients. - You will work closely with the procurement team, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement operations.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or coordination roles, preferably within an MSP or IT services industry.
- Knowledge of procurement principles, best practices, and contract management.
- Familiarity with procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably ConnectWise.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to analyze data, identify trends, and propose solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Purchase Order Management:
o Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with established procurement guidelines.
o Verify purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and budgetary constraints.
o Monitor purchase orders to track delivery status, resolve any issues, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
o Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage changes, cancellations, and returns as necessary.
Supplier Relationship Management:
o Maintain positive and professional relationships with suppliers, acting as a primary point of contact.
o Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and adherence to contractual agreements.
o Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and assess supplier performance on an ongoing basis.
Compliance and Process Improvement:
o Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
o Assist in the development and enhancement of procurement processes and workflows.
o Identify areas for process improvement, automation, or standardization within the procurement function
o Participate in cross-functional teams to support procurement-related projects and initiatives
