Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of technical and functional support for reporting solutions.
Skills:
Strong understanding of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide timely and effective support to end-users on reporting tools, processes, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex reporting issues, including data quality problems, system errors, and performance bottlenecks.
Document and track support incidents to identify trends and areas for improvement.
User Training and Education:
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on reporting tools, features, and functionalities.
Create user guides, tutorials, and other training materials to support self-learning.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users as needed.
Reporting Customization and Enhancement:
Assist in customizing and enhancing existing reports to meet evolving business requirements.
Collaborate with business analysts and report developers to identify and implement report improvements.
Provide recommendations on data visualization techniques and reporting best practices.
Data Validation and Quality Assurance:
Validate data accuracy and consistency to ensure the reliability of reporting outputs.
Identify and address data quality issues in collaboration with data governance teams.
Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to prevent errors.
Reporting Process Optimization:
Analyze reporting processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of reporting standards and guidelines.
Stakeholder Management:
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and challenges.
Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proactively identify and address stakeholder concerns.
Data Analysis and Insights:
Provide basic data analysis support, including data aggregation, filtering, and sorting.
Assist in interpreting report results and extracting meaningful insights.
Support the development of data-driven decision-making processes.
