We are searching for senior engineers with Downstream (Refining, Petrochemicals and Chemicals) experience to join our risk engineering team:

- Carry out typically 12-14 for oil and gas surveys.

We will rely on you to:
- Survey a global portfolio of Downstream Assets Industry assets and supporting with the placement of their insurance through development of underwriting reports
- Improve the process safety performance for our client through recommending continued improvements through risk improvement recommendations and implementation of best practices
- Calculating estimated maximum loss values associated with major incidents with the use of our specialist software
- Work with a specialist team of client executives, brokers and claims personnel to provide technical information and support for insurance placement, tenders and requests for proposals.
- Developing thought-leadership publications to support clients in their understanding and delivery of improvement in process safety management topics.
What you need to have:
- Extensive industry experience within Petrochemical / Refinery sectors
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering subject (or similar) plus 15 years exp in operations
( please note this is not a junior senior role )
What makes you stand out:
- Experience working for one or more major Operators or Manufacturers
- Having held a senior management position(s) or position of technical influence
- Master's Degree in an Engineering subject (or similar)
- Professional/Chartered/Fellow of Professional Institute or the training and experience to obtain chartered status (ICheme/IET/IMechE)
