Safety Assessments:
- Develop, revalidate, and improve safety assessments using Bowtie methodology for Gas fractionation plants, refinery units, and tank farm complexes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage conflicting priorities while maintaining key stakeholder interests and relationships.
Plant Documentation:
- Develop plant documentation for Operations Personnel, including SOPs, Checklists, and Training Material.
Project Management:
- Demonstrate project management and administration abilities.
Communication Skills:
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Technical Competence:
- Have competence in issues related to Refinery, Petrochemical plants, LPG & LNG Storage & Treatment facilities, FPSO offshore production facilities, high-pressure gas processing systems, and oil/water/gas separation facilities.
Proposal Estimation:
- Estimate proposals for Process Safety components, participate in Kick-off Meetings, and implement project management and control procedures.
Process Safety Deliverables:
- Prepare Process Safety deliverables for Conceptual, FEED, and EPCM projects.
- Develop Hazardous/Electrical area classification schedules and drawings.
- Optimize Plot Plans and Equipment Layouts.
- Prepare Escape routes and safety equipment layouts.
- Develop fireproofing schedules and drawings.
HSE Design and Process Safety Basis:
- Prepare HSE Design, Process Safety Basis of Design, and Philosophies.
Safety Workshops and Audits:
- Conduct safety workshops, including HAZOP, HAZID, PHA, SIL, QRA, ENVID, FERA, EERA, ALARP, and 3-D model reviews.
- Coordinate with consultants and participate in workshops.
- Conduct Process Safety Audits.
Compliance with Standards:
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards such as NORSOK, DNVGL-OS, API, NFPA, ASME, BS/EN, and client standards like ExxonMobil, Santos, SHELL, NMA, and DNV Class rules in the oil & gas industry.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure quality by adhering to the company's quality documents and regularly checking the work done by junior team members.
Formal Sign-off and Workshops:
- Formally sign-off Bowties in the database system through work flowing of a Bowtie Report.
- Conduct workshops with operations, maintenance, and engineering personnel to verify the accuracy of inputs used in preparing Bowties.
Site Checks and Travel:
- Complete site checks where required and feasible, occasionally traveling to plants.
Safety Design and Engineering Support:
- Provide safety design for various major Refinery and Petrochemical Units, vendor packages, and utility systems.
- Perform process safety design for production systems, including crude oil, produced water treatment, water injection, and condensate treatment.
Inter-discipline Coordination:
- Perform inter-discipline squad checks, site surveys, data collection from the site, and support site pre-commissioning activities.
- Deal with process licensors, vendors, and lead process reviews/discussions with clients as required.
