Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

This role is contributing to Motion Business for System Drives division in Bangalore India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work.
- Finding new ways of solving problems by following your ideas, creating hypotheses, and defining ways to validate them.
- Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them.
- Understanding and initiating IP generation in your area of specialization and participating in the project IP strategy development.
Qualifications For The Role
- You are highly skilled in Setup the Medium & Low Voltage Rectifiers product models in our new CPQ solution according to concepts defined and Maintain and continuously improve the product models.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in Interacting with different stakeholders: R&D, Product management and sales to acquire the relevant input for the model corrections and enhancements,
- make sure documentation and configuration model are aligned and up-to-date, data model gets properly tested and released.
- Interact with end user/customer to get feedback on identified development areas of the process, prioritizes the developments based on user and customer value and build business case for process changes.
- Take part in improving the configuration model management process: how changes are coordinated, how documentation and business entities are up-dated, how models are updated, tested, and released, etc.
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in electrical engineering with 8+ years of related experience required.
- Experience working on and/or dimensioning of multi-megawatt Power Converters, power supplies, rectifiers, excitation systems, LCIs (from 1 to 25MW AC/DC, DC/AC), its system level components like transformers, circuit breakers etc.
- Experience in electrical design of plants (medium and large) with multiple components (MV/MV transformers, MV/LV transformers, MW switchgear, reactive compensation, harmonics filtering, rectifiers and Understanding of thyristors, IGBT, diode technologies and power electronics topologies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English language.
