The team you will be a part of:
The Business Process team develops, implements and sustains cross-functional process improvement projects and business-wide improvement initiatives including training, mentoring, and consulting with Black Belts, Champions, and Green Belts. Identifies, suggests and implements best practices to facilitate best solutions and methods that will optimize processes in all areas of the business.
This role in summary:
Its a New refrigeration development, Brown field project involving reconstruction, shifting etc. Requires a Project Manager with greenfield and brownfield experience. An Industrial engineer is preferred who will be part of core committee.
Process Engineering:
PFMEA, PCP & PFC for NPI / EPI Activities
Update Work Content & Time study arising due to NPI/EPI/ECN
Develop SOP / WIN as per Workstations
ISO Documents ownership & Audit
Improving visibility & controls in Process Management
Work Content reduction opportunities thru DFMEA & EPM approach
Andon management for Manufacturing challenges / Work Content leading to bottleneck
Prepare Complexity matrix to reduce eliminate complexity
Strategic Justifications for Make Vs Buy decisions based on FMP
Design & Install facilities with First Time Right approach
Involve in Product Development Stages & Track the changes
Refrigerator Manufacturing Process:
Knowledge of Refrigerator Manufacturing Process
Sound knowledge of RAC Sealed System
Sound Knowledge of Polyurethane Foaming
Knowledge of Sheet Metal Forming, Notching & Punching Process
Knowledge of Thermoforming Process (HIPS/ABS)
Early Equipment/Product Management:
Learn & establish Early Equipment / Product Management Methodology as per WCM & WPD principles
Identify Existing pains of Manufacturing and generate(update) Database reference for New Products / Equipment
Identify Waste Activities across Shopfloor to develop mitigation plan through New Product / Equipment introduction
Your responsibilities will include:
Factory Master Plan:
Develop FMP in line with Future Market requirements
Capacity Balance Chart for future
Initiate Projects to improve Operational Efficiencies
Idea generation for Automation in line with Industry

Space Management : utilization improvement opportunities identification & execution
Project Management:
Regular Interaction with Marketting & Technology Teams for the requirements
Regular Interaction with Global Teams to be updated on latest developments & Best practices across region
Regular Interaction with Suppliers for technology & competitor best practices updates
Budget estimation for New Projects & Product Launch with related Infra, Tooling & Equipments modification
Management Approvals with B/C Evalaution
Prepare RFQ, gather Quotations, evaluate supplier options, build consensus to move forward
Monitor activities from Equipment ordering to Installation
Monitor and adhere Project Budget expenditure
Shop Floor Management:
Involve in shop floor reviews with Safety, Quality & Production
Ineract with Shop floor team to identify improvement opportunities
Ensure cohesivness while working with CFT
Conduct training sessions to the relevant peoplesMinimum requirements:
B.E. / M.E. (NIT/Equivalent Preferred), industrial or mechanical preferred
