Process Engineer

We are hiring for Process Engineer (BOF) for one of the leading MNC firm which provides technology and services for ironmaking and steelmaking operations.

Location - JSW, Bellary

Experience - 3-5yrs (Min 3 years with experience of BOF)

Key Responsibilities:

1. To finalize the billing by certification of Sub-Lance probe used successfully per heat, per day by customer. Those parameters on basis of which monthly bill depend should be in battery limit of project PG.

2. To carry out fault analysis of the faulty measurement of Sub-Lance probe & try to reduce, by identifying the root cause

3. To submit various report/analysis as per customer/Site requirement like sample rejection, PG Hit-rate, etc. So should be comfortable in MS Excel data analysis.

4. To check and address any problem occurred in L2 system like networking, communication(L1,L2&L3), metallurgical calculation etc.

5. Must have good analytical knowledge(of BOF steel making) to figure out the root cause, if any problem faced in BOF steel making process.

6. To manage the logistics team to ensure the supply of probes near each Sub-lance equipment for smooth sub-lance Operation. Also, reconciliation of SUB-LANCE probes on monthly basis

7. To figure out/report, if any problem faced in Sub-Lance Operation to the Sub-lance maintenance team

8. Carry out/suggest trails for the betterment of SL Operation. It can be related to anything like probe modification, day to day activities, etc.

Qualification:

BE/BTECH - Metallurgy (Only)

Required Skills:

• Must have working experience in BOF.
