As a Process Designer, you will be responsible for producing design drawings and lists for a given project.
To succeed in this role, you should have relevant design and drafting experience.

What You ll Do

We are looking for a Process Designer to join our team in Chennai Office, in India.

The Role Responsibilities Include

Minimum 513 years in PID drafting (Minimum 4 years in SPPID & at least 1 year in SPPID)
Excellent knowledge of Software; SPPID
Understanding Process drafting standards and practices.
Preparation of PIDs in Smart plant PID with markup update, participate in the periodic discussions with lead & Engineers for understanding the process requirements.
Achieving the drafting and designing targets of PIDs in given time schedule.
Entering the attributes in the PIDs for pipe run, Piping components and others.
Extraction of Line Lists, Valve Lists, Instrument Lists, Equipment & Tie-in reports etc. from Global utility.
Understand the importance of performing self-check to maintaining quality and error free deliverables.
Good communication & writing skills to discuss with discipline engineer.
Attitude to find, track, and resolve Errors.
Working knowledge in AutoCAD, MicroStation & Microsoft excel software.
Applies knowledge of standards, systems, departmental guideline, and applicable codes.
Act as the drafting and design interface for the discipline for projects and proposals
Ensure quality of drafting, design and back drafting by carrying out quality checks as per the quality procedures and maintain quality records thereof.
Monitor and report drafting and design progress for projects to the Lead Engineer.
Induct drafting and design personnel to the drafting procedures in the office and ensure adherence to the same.







Liaise with other disciplines on technical issues.
