Process Design Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Process Design Engineer with 2-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new processes and improving existing ones. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new processes to improve efficiency and productivity
• Improve existing processes through continuous monitoring and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process design meets business requirements
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Conduct process audits and implement process improvements
• Identify and mitigate potential process risks
• Provide technical support and guidance to operations team

Skills and Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
• 2-6 years of experience in process design in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or Pro II
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
