Responsibilities
- Handle domestic and imported supply chain.
- Ensure material shipment as per shipping date.
- Ensure zero line stoppage due part shortage.
- Regular monitoring of key deliverables through daily / weekly / fortnightly reports and ensure system and process robustness
- Drive MPL cross functional meeting i.e. RTM, SMRT, TVM and COS to support SCM related activities.
- Ensure proactive action / escalation of critical issues and communicate with concerned cross functional departments for timely resolution of issues / potential issues
- Will be responsible for all production parts inventory. Ensure monthly inventory reports are generated and deep dive analysis done with roadmaps to align with the plant / regional inventory targets.
- Will be responsible for in bound freight cost (road), premium freight / AETC (all production domestic parts) costs.
- Will be responsible for the management of LLP, its performance and control (inbound logistics).
- Will be responsible for addressing and resolving all obsolescence at supplier's end by ensuring each claim is validated through SCM which will facilitate closing claims as per ISO process lead times. Also ensuring support and facilitation on in plant obsolescence salvage.
- Will be responsible for all launch program , freshening , SVP's lead with regards to all SCM related and part of CFT for completion of MP&L related activities through all related review and meetings , communication with intra inter departmental coordination activities .
- Should have enough knowledge of Import Export procedures and willing to serve in this area whenever required.
- Must have thoroughly MP&L knowledge of different operations and willing to work in any area on Material Handling, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management, Import-Export of goods.
Qualifications
Education Qualification : Engineering (Engg. graduate preferred with MBA)
Years of Automotive / : 5-10 Years, preferably in an Automotive Industry
Industry experience
Professional Exposure : Preferred Expertise in Supply Chain Management
Special Knowledge or skill required : Able to handle large groups, hands on experience in
Material management exposure to lean Mfg
Others (specifics) : Have exposure on ERP systems, MS Office, Good
