This role will deliver effective and efficient finance transactional processes and controls from a GBS Centre as described in the S&N Finance Accounts Payable (AP) taxonomy and in line with the Group Finance Manual, Minimum Acceptable Practices (MAPs) and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Delivers the service to meet SLAs and critical metrics and to ensure positive Voice of Customer feedback.
What will you be doing
- Knowledge and understanding of the Procure to Pay process.
- Experience in dealing with counterparts from across the world.
- Hands-on knowledge of payments process, clearings, vendor open items, vendor reconciliations.
- Monitor and resolve aged GRIR/GRNI, Blocked Invoices (MRBR), GIT, and PPV Prepares proposals for payment runs, wire transfers, and manual transactions to ensure accurate and timely supplier payments, remittances, and bank clearing.
- Increasing on-time payment. Knowledge of different payment methods.
- Minimize duplicate and overpayments, minimize un-utilized credits.
- Invoice processing Knowledge would be an added advantage.
What will you need to be Successful
- Education: Graduate / Post Graduate Degree - B.Com / M.Com.
- Minimum 1 to 3 Years of Payments, AP full cycle AP processing, basic accounting principles Good English communications skills written and verbal.
- Proficient in Payments process, AP and Invoice Processing
- Strong analytical skills, and detail oriented
- Strong MS Office skills especially in Microsoft Excel, good knowledge of SAP, etc
- Fluent in English communications skill -written and verbal.
