Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Print & Packaging Designer to create visually stunning and functional packaging that reflects our brand identity. In this role, you will collaborate with marketing and product development teams to design product packaging and print collaterals that capture our brand essence and resonate with our target audience. Your expertise will also encompass handling stakeholder feedback and ensuring all packaging products align with our branding, color schemes, and overall vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to gather requirements and understand brand identity and target audience.
- Conceptualize and execute creative print design ideas, including packaging and trade marketing materials.
- Create prototypes and mock-ups to evaluate the functionality, aesthetics, and practicality of packaging designs, with a focus on structural design from primary to tertiary packaging.
- Present ideas and design solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final designs.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure high-quality proofs that meet production specifications.
- Stay informed about consumer and market trends related to packaging materials.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and industry guidelines to ensure compliance with labeling, safety, and product information standards.
- Utilize design software including Auto Fusion 360 for mold design and Keyshot for rendering to enhance packaging visuals.
- Ensure all packaging products reflect branding, color schemes, and vision, while also considering Moko print creations for innovative designs.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a Packaging Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with 3D design software, including CorelDraw and Auto Fusion 360.
- Strong knowledge of various packaging materials, production techniques, and printing processes.
- Experience in structural design and mold creation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen aesthetic sensibility, with the ability to translate brand identity into captivating packaging designs.
- Understanding of packaging health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A passion for pets is a plus!
