Job Description

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user assistance and training documentation for the Java SE products and features.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8+ years relevant experience as user assistance developer, technical writer, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degrees. Suggested majors include English, technical writing, communications, instructional design, software engineering, or computer science.
  • Strong English communication skills ability to present represents complex ideas and topics to multiple audiences.
  • Ability to act as Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
  • Experience and understanding of the following technologies: Content Management, JIRA, Technical Documentation, Technical Writing, Oxygen, DITA, CSS, XML, Markdown, HTML, XHTML, Copyediting, Publication, Version Control, Accessibility, Information Architecture, UX, Java.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly
