- A well-rounded understanding of the varied and numerous AWS services (VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, EC2, S3, SNS, SQS and Lambda functions) their limitations and alternate (non-AWS) solutions that might serve better in particular situations and troubleshoot issues aligned with those services.
- Performance Monitoring, An AWS Ops engineer should ensure the performance fine tuning of the cloud infrastructure systems running under Windows and Linux platforms. Good understanding of AWS services like CloudWatch, Cloud trail and VPC flow log is a must.
- Continuous integration and delivery, N eed to be familiar with AWS Code Pipeline and Azure Devops pipelines for Continuous integration and delivery. Also, the candidate should have experience in Version control software s like Git, Infrastructure as code
- An AWS Ops Engineer will ensure that the systems built in a modularized manner, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Automation: Need to have experience and expertise with one of the scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, PowerShell, and bash. You should be also familiar with AWS Lambda functions(the serverless functions service).
