Optum's Public Cloud engineering team develops software, manages security, financial controls, and creates reusable application patterns that enable the enterprise to operate at scale within the public cloud space. Optum product teams build on top of this platform to deliver value safely, quickly, and sustainably. In this position, you will work with a growing team to create business value while collaborating with product owners, operational staff and technology leadership in an agile manner. The ideal candidate will have deep software engineering skills, experience applying those skills to manage and use public cloud resources, and exhibit agile development leadership. They will apply these skills as a senior engineer for new services and software with scalability, interoperability, and code maintainability in mind.
