Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.

versions of Oracle Database in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). We are searching for someone who brings fresh ideas, demonstrates a unique and informed viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating with a
cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences at every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be actively participating in the Operationals, definition, documentation and evolution of standard practices and procedures
- You will be actively participating in SRE Tasks, Validations, Automation
- You will be handling the support escalations and critical incidents with a wider impact
- Improve reliability, quality of the service by implementing excellent operational standards
- Provide primary Operational Support and Engineering for the service
- Leading contributor individually and as a team member
- You will influence and assist in new solutions, processes and standards to support hyper-scale DBaaS growth
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- Good understanding of Public Cloud environment
- Good experience in scripting/ coding with Bash/ Python
- Good understanding of Oracle Database
- A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
- 5+ years of systems operation / administration
- Good understanding of network, storage and virtualization concepts and technologies
- Good experience in Enterprise Linux (Oracle Linux, Redhat, or Fedora platforms)
- Problem-solving skills to learn new technical and non-technical analysis techniques to overcome problems.
- Ability to work independently and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures
- Strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills
Nice to have -
- Automation deployment and configuration management tools such as Chef, Salt, Ansible, and/or Puppet, etc.
- Docker or similar containerization technologies
- Kubernetes
- Monitoring frameworks such as Prometheus / Grafana and Nagios
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
- Git, SVN, or similar version control experience
