Principal Quality Assurance Engineer in

Summary:
Our company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Principal QA engineer. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.
Responsibilities:
- Provide process and technical leadership in the development of test strategies and plans across a complex portfolio of applications and system components.
- Able to design & write automation test cases for UI, backend, backend jobs, etc.
- Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization.
- Bring your innovation, creativity, and track record of expertise to bear advancing our commitment to automation of functional, performance testing.
- Interface with Product Management and Client Services teams to ensure requirements compliance, determine release readiness, and triage defects.
- Review major deliverables to ensure contract compliance prior to Prod Deployment
- Lead multi-functional teams in problem resolution and process improvement activities with an emphasis on six sigma, lean practices, and statistical process control.
- Conduct and/or monitor product and process assessments.
- Utilize quality measures and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentors and provides training assistance to Associate QA Engineers
- Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization.
- Manages testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.
- 9+ years software testing experience.
- Knowledge / experience with any of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, Ansible.
- Knows how to use diagrams to communicate design (UML class, sequence, activity, deployment, database ER, high-level architecture, infrastructure, etc.)
- Solid Communication - verbal and written.
- Good in Programming
- Experience with PlayWright and/or Postman.
- Knowledge of RESTful API (microservices)
- Knows Secure coding practices.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, JIRA
Preferred Skills:
- Preferably knows more than one language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, TypeScript)
- Knows IntelliJ IDEA or Spring Tool Suite
- Knows Postman tool.
- Familiar with OWASP Top 10
- Microservices vs Monoliths
- Any of the following technologies are ideal.
- Spring Boot/RESTful APIs
- Spring Data
- Spring Batch
- Docker, Kubernetes & Tanzu
- Knows SQL language.
- PostgreSQL
- Elasticstack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Fluentd)
- AMQP (RabbitMQ)
- TLS / Certificates
- Encryption / Cryptography basics
- Networking basics
