Principal Quality Analyst - Core Banking

This role will be required to report to either Bengaluru OR Chennai office 3x a week

Job Requirements:

- Extensive experience in software development and testing, particularly in the IT and Banking sectors.
- Proficiency with various testing techniques, such as UI testing, automated testing, and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools, especially Selenium, and other automation frameworks.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document and articulate issues effectively.
- A great team player, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to develop and execute exploratory to ensure the highest quality of our product.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of IT/Banking experience, with expertise in understanding requirements, designing comprehensive test scenarios, and executing both manual and automated test cases.

The role involves digging deeper into issues, identifying root causes, and clearly articulating defects.

Hands-on experience with Selenium, manual testing, and automation testing is highly desirable.

The candidate must possess the skills to effectively deal with issues and test new solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Create detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests, identify root causes, and track defects.
- Document results of tests and provide feedback to the software development team.
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Work collaboratively with software developers to enhance and improve the product.
- Research and compare competitor products to understand industry standards and innovations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and new testing tools.
