Define, maintain, and promoting the architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap for Corporate Units. Evangelising this across all teams and ensuring there is consensus and understanding of key stakeholders.
Monitor and evaluate the emerging trends, technologies, and innovations in the enterprise architecture domain, and assess their impact and value for the organization.
Supporting review of budgets and project portfolio investment roadmap to ensure alignment of the Enterprise Architecture and the fitness for purpose of the IT strategy.
Support reality-checkpoint review of roadmaps across and within LoB - considering dependencies, pipeline capacity or resourcing constraints.
Portfolio Management
Demand Planning - Act as the product owner of the services that the Corporate Units Architecture team provide.
Drive outcome-based prioritisation of demand; provide clarity around blockers, risks and issues in delivering the services and manage through the team.
Manage and oversee the enterprise architecture portfolio, and ensure the quality, consistency, and completeness of the enterprise architecture deliverables and artifacts.
Enterprise Architecture
Driving a business capability, complexity, cost, risk and maturity assessment of the current state architecture to meet business outcome and simplification goals
Driving Enterprise Architecture and supporting business case development of signature ready vehicles that deliver timely, fit for purpose strategic transformations in business capability to senior stakeholders
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, models, and artifacts that support the design and delivery of business and IT solutions.
Lead and facilitate the enterprise architecture governance and review processes, and ensure the alignment and compliance of the enterprise architecture with the business and IT strategies, policies, and standards.
Collaborate and communicate with senior management, business and IT stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure the alignment of architecture across the organization.
Ensuring BT remains compliant to Legal, Regulatory and Security requirements.
What you ll need:
Enterprise Architecture experience working at C Level including working in a mid-large/complex scale organisation.
Evidence of leading material business change through Enterprise Architecture
Ability to communicate in both the business jargon and the technology jargon and translate effectively between the two. Excellent story telling techniques.
Experience in running light-touch, fit for purpose governance processes in large organizations.
Strong knowledge of a broad range of Corporate Units technologies and vendors including SAP and Microsoft
Experience of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks including TOGAF, and their relevance to the practice of Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF certification not essential)
