Principal Java Developer

A unique opportunity to join Dashboard & Framework team and be part of Oracle Enterprise Manager/Oracle Management Cloud that monitors, manages and gives single pane of glass for management of on-premise and cloud assets. As part of the Dashboard & Framework team, you will be continually challenged to solve problems and have an opportunity to contribute to the foundational technology of Enterprise Manager Product and cloud service. As an individual developer, your primary goals are to be part of design and development of highly performant, scalable & robust features in Enterprise Manager product and cloud service. You will solve interesting technical challenges by defining, designing, deploying, patching and troubleshooting.

As individual contributor you will be working on frameworks and software engineering tasks such as design and development of systems that are base for next generation features that delivers high scalability, reliability and ease of use.

The ideal candidate is full stack developer and experience including areas such as UI technologies, rest apis, service architecture, database & networking.

Responsibilities

• Strong technical skills to design and program features that are robust, performant and scalable with little external assistance.
• Have a strong passion to get into depth of complex issues, look at problems as opportunities rather than hurdle and come up with multiple solutions.
• Strong technical interest and self drive to learn new technologies and imbibe and influence best practices to wider developer community.
• Work together with global team to achieve wider organization goals.

Qualifications

• BE degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding with practical experience
• Very good at fundamentals of computer science basics i.e. data structure algorithm.
• Development experience in Java, SQL, microservice based architecture.
• Some experience in UI technologies and/or Javascript async programming.
• Knowledge in analytics and big data handling will be a plus.
